Great video and the guy who wrote the Medium blog post brings up some plausible concerns for someone who hasn't really studied BitShares and STEEM.   Nothing will be a perfect ecosystem but we see the working implementations of this here and no one on this platform really thinks of this being centralized as far as the mining aspect with the Witnesses.   The main flaw was the initital distribution and that an obsurd amount of STEEM is owned by STEEMIT INC which in a lot of ways hasn't seemed to be an enormous issue.   

EOS is going to have a better distribution and will be the next step of evolution.   

I'm actually going to spin up a VPS and run Dawn 3 and do some very simple samples to show a little more of what can be done.   There isn't that many videos online of people working off the testnet but people are coding on it.   

All the people acting like EOS is nothing are like some scrub at LA Fitness who thinks he is the king of the basketball court and then some more badass dude walks in and starts throwing down crazy dunks and doesn't miss.   Suddenly the first dude is calling bullshit fouls and going into rages because he knows he isn't top dog anymore.
