Governments wants power for themselves. They cant see power get distributed. They want to have greater control over Everything. They are more concerned about taxes than citizens. But one of the greater concern is that money should not flow out of the country. So any incoming or outgoing flow must be monitored and taxed by governments so that Government have enough to spend on welfare. I am sure many governments are already thinking on how to monitor the flow of money in crypto currencies and how they can efficiently tax them.

This is the reason we should expect the basic income to become a reality. The process of fiat money is created from thin air and taxes is almost the same process. You pay tax with money created from thin air, this system is obsolete, from my point of view. Thank you for this great comment :)

You are right. In India group of economists are working on Basic Income for Farmers. Governments dont care whether farmer is living or dying. Farmer Suicides are rising every day. If Basic Income becomes reality there will be more respect and equilibrium in society. In India People spend more on Temples than paying taxes to governments. Because governments are busy filling their own coffers, supporting their own people who gave election funding to them. the government corporate nexus is so big in India that poor often remains poor for whole generation. Basic income will give more opportunities for all. I am in support of Basic Income. Thanks
