Regards appreciated friend @edgarare1. At the beginning of your post you addressed the issue of abandoned accounts and then ended up talking about downvotes. This seems to me two very important points in the steem blockchain today. I do not know if there are statistical records of the abandoned accounts, but as you know we can obtain monthly statistics on the creation of accounts. It is surprising that in the month of October alone, more than 9K new accounts were created. But it is totally unfortunate and sad to know that a majority of 76.6% of the accounts that were created in October were not made a single publication. So on the one hand we have active users abandoning their accounts and on the other we have the creation of thousands of accounts per month but they do not provide content creation. You’re right many people are creating new accounts, but we know that those new accounts are creating for people who are active in the platform, many people have two of four accounts, and many of those ones are robots, nobody of the are creating good content.. It is sad to know. This should cause a negative impact on the platform. Perhaps this influences limiting the recovery of the value of the steem?
