Here we are my darling, end of another day. It’s such a different vibe from what I imagine my morning posts might be to you if our time zones were switched. Let’s be honest, you’re always in much better shape in the mornings, it’s for the best ;). But since I take the “night shift” you get the dayleeo who’s rubbing tired eyes, watching the sun set out the window and reflective about the day… so here are some reflections…

I’ve been a little selfish this month. At this moment, I’ve turned down some work I didn’t feel good about. I’m taking a short break from intense dental work. I’m feeling creative again. And I like that feeling.
It’s never been easy for me to turn down work. And since things have been so slow over the summer and into the fall it’s even harder but I’ve committed this week to myself that my mantra in the back of my mind would be. “I trust myself.”…
`I trust myself to know when I’m overdoing it. `
`I trust myself to eat what and when my body needs to eat.`
`I trust my body to carry me through daily yoga again. `
`I trust myself to know what I want to make and not concern myself with how it will be received. `

Maybe it’s the fall activation energy. I absolutely love this time of year, and I know you do too. It also makes me miss ya that much more, but I know we’ll have our time again soon enough. <3

I’m really proud of myself for getting that video up. I know it may seem like a silly thing, and in a way, by this time next year I hope I look back and think that it IS a silly thing to be proud of. If I can do that, it means getting into “making mode” is just on full reflex mode. I remember when blogging once a week felt like a big undertaking. Now I’m putting blogs up sometimes 2 and 3 times a day.

I know the ebooks are the next big thing for me. I just need to quit dancing around the edges and have one good sit down sprint with it. Tomorrow is meal prep so that will give me some analog brain time to think more about how I want to structure the first one. I can’t tell you how therapeutic it is for me to just stand there and chop celery or do some kind of analog repetitive task like that once a week. I do wish I didn’t have to shop tomorrow but I’ll make it an early doors move and be back in a flash.

It seems that a few potential new clients may be “circling” as well, we’ll see what comes from any of them. Even if I got one more steady VO client to add to the mix I’d be really happy. I’m realizing how covetous I am over my personal making time and my time with you. That’s what’s most important to me. The rest will come….

I love you to pieces mouse… by this time the song I left you is probably over, or coming to an end so I think that’s my cosmic cue. I love you more than all the stars in the sky, and no matter their arrangement, no one can take away the fact that we found each other.
