If so, we are in the same spiral with all the alt coins.  It is called moving your funds to btc for free coins.

While I think the title is a bit overdramatic, I do think we have some problems on SteemIt.  It doesn't bother me that everything is for sale that is true everywhere on the planet.

What does bother me is the entire message at steemfest was...
SteemIt, and community, you are just not that important to us.

I heard the message loud and clear and will be investing accordingly.

SteemIt is just one of many application we will see on the Steem blockchain.

This was mentioned in nearly every segment I watched.  

Sneak informing us that the developers are the only one's who can "inform" us of whether or not the site is "okay".  And they are too busy to bother.

The message was repeated...
Never once was it presented as...  SteemIt is our flagship product, the first of many..

Instead.  New colors. .. because, we don't want to be associated with SteemIt.
It was mentioned over and over.  Or at least that is what I heard.
