## <center> DD14 Ends June 3rd </center>

<center> This is a reminder to get your dig-on and submissions in for DD14. Dealing with the FBI vault can be a little frustrating as the website isn't very user friendly. Unless you know precisely what you're looking it can be difficult to find the proper search terms that will being up material of interest. The website also tends to highlight famous individuals rather than significant investigations.

## Recent FBI Releases

A very recent FBI release in relation to the Argentina Dirty War containing some 47,000 documents from various government agencies was made public in April of 2019.

## <center> The FBI Vault </center>

Online access to the FBI Vault was made available in 2011. At the time, there were approximately 2,000 government documents open to the general public. Seven years on, the Vault media archive has expanded to approximately 6,700 files. The website offers users the ability to search key words, topics and persons and also provides a built-in document viewer for convenience.

> Included here are many new FBI files that have been released to the public but never added to this website; dozens of records previously posted on our site but removed as requests diminished; files from our previous FOIA Library, and new, previously unreleased files.

Appearing in the Vault electronic reading room collection are a plethora of familiar names and notable personalities.
