Personally, I don't mind flags, but most users of this platform do... especially one as big as yours. Your flag by itself however can't remove significant rewards or anyone from the front page, once they are there... so you are not really achieving a curated front page. Having a curated front page is one thing, but having an upset user base is another, flagging is far more likely to create the latter.
