Hey everyone, what an incredible adventure this bee-keeping has been wow. So excited about it all.

I recently inspected progress on the bees inside the supers to see how and if they have started working the 4th super, I did so mid-day, mistake, they zapped me on the cheek and I caught it on camera.

Not making that mistake again. Be sure to stay tuned for our first bee-extraction video, coming soon. We will be removing a large swarm of bees from a pool pump house.

Ouch. I got stung multiple times by a hornet last week. Hurt so bad where it stung me under my armpit, thought I tore a tendon from lifting my elbow.

A little baking soda helps the initial pain numb up a little bit.

I don't know how you manage to work so closely with bees without any fear. You must really love bees, on an otherworldly level.

Hey bruv, ye I am getting 'too brave' these are African 'killer bees' among the most aggressive on earth so its not smart and I don't recommend it. I am not allergic so a little more brave, however been stung quiet often just two nights ago again and it seems to be having an adverse effect on me so probably the toxins are building up. I should use the bee suit more often. This was midday I wont be inspecting them at the heat of day and generally we only work with them, open hives etc at nigh, albeit doing so got stung the other night. LOL we learn we live and ye I am passionate about bees and nature. Amazing how I just started photographing them and now I am a bee-keeper, too exciting for words! Cheer$;)

Yikes! I have heard how dangerous they can be when they swarm. Seeing those five bees around you had me worried. In your country, are the African bees used for honey, or are they a common invader? I am lucky to live in a land were the honeybee can thrive without too much concern.
