Those pics aren't really that disturbing until you think about them a bit and about how horrible that would be to be afflicted with such a thing. Good grief, slowly being eaten by bugs while you walk around... how awful. Ever heard of Trypophobia? People who are afflicted with that might be disturbed by the pics. The rest of us might just be shocked enough to care a bit more about homeless dogs.

I have heard of that affliction and i believe it has something to do with being disturbed by holes being in something. I think this is more disturbing once you know what is going on inside that hole in the dog's side. It is being slowly consumed :(
