Voted for - It is safe to use some but, some other may downvote you for using inappropriate tags. Yes, if you paste wrong tag by failure or misjudgment they can downvote you and you should accept it as that will influence just that front end, and don't forget to chose tags that should be in your post. It can happen but it is not a big deal if you get to know why and where you made a mistake.
