Actually yes. it is just a proposition and there would another that better and against this one. Also i am not a master of economics nor politica and using steemit close to one year. But as  existentially hierarcy there is first content before selection. In my opinion it is not an investment like taking your money from your right pocket to left one. You must be investing to platforms technology and usage. One of your responsibility is to market it by something like real data. You can not sell a fake product it is not fair. You must use this technology. Sorry but go invest on other things that you can fully control or take people in steemit with membership fee  or CV or invite. Also sorry but it is not good making puppets from people. Also expecting satisfaction from investment is not right. People must be more professional. You are not selling satisfaction of capitalism You are selling real data as how it is. Bla bla

OK you think curation is no work? Please read 100 articels a day and only upvote good every day.  

You will the this sucks.

Write fast 500 - 1000 words of content is way less work. 

Next point is, to get high votes you need masses of Steem. There are not free. So why should someone buy Steem? It is not charity.

I do not have much data to tell you. Some buys steem just on exchanges and never know about steemit or intagrations. By just looking its price graphics

Soon you will have to produce your own products when producer exhausted by this way.

Sure, you are 100% right. Upvots doesnt mean it is good Content.
 But with the current System on most Front ends are more $ = more visibility. So higher upvotes care in Terms of success/visibility of the Author.

The rules of the Game ( Votes) are to easy to abuse.  Maybe some subscription System are better. No idea.
