I'm hearing more and more people asking for it, there's more than a few comments here alone. @demotruk has a good post about that which might be worth checking out. I do definitely think a slider for curation reward is the best option.

It's already realized on Golos, which is Steemit fork, so technically speaking it's very easy to do. However I feel some irony that the want-to-be *decentralized communnity* is seeking some *one-size-fits-all* solution so desperatly.

Yeah, I do agree as well that whether it be 75/25, 60/40, 50/50, or some other mostly arbitrary percentage ratio, it will never suit everyone. In theory the slider concept achieves the maximum amount of choice for authors. Though I'm sure some individuals would be unhappy by this choice, namely stakeholders and some curators.
