I had earlier created [this poll](https://dpoll.xyz/detail/@uyobong/do-you-think-authors-would-really-earn-less-if-5050-curation-was-adopted-on-steem-blockchain/) few days ago, but it did not gain a good engagement probably because I had no rewards for voters.

This is one of the reasons that curation should gain more than its current 25%. Beyond the rewards, curation goes a long way as as an appreciation for one's time, skills put into a post and beyond votes, the resteems and comments add a great flavour.

My argument is simple. With higher curation rewards, we'll have more investors and #steem will grow. Besides, Content creators will have to give attention to quality to attract good curators.
