That is the way all fashion runways are. You have to understand this whole concept. designs are made by a fashion designer for a show. now he or she may have had a lot of expenses racked up in fabrics and even labor. now comes the show. you have to pick the right models, to wear your designs. In order to give that pizzazz in less than a minute. Your model is your add,voice, and prototype. The way that she or he presents your designs will make you or break you. a show is made to be fast in order to show all of the designers garments asap. so hopefully a contract or lots of garments would sell. You see the models, you don't see the designers end of it. he or she is a nervous train wreck not knowing what to expect from the crowds and potential clients and buyers.

Its always so crazy how much work goes into a show for it only to last about 10-11 minuets. As a show Producer I can attest to the anxiety of all things pre and post show related.
