Das ist richtig.
Und abhängig von der verwendeten Hashfunktion, ist das ein Problem.

Hatte LTT nicht sogar auf dem CES Video die ersten Firmen gezeigt, die Quanten Prozessoren nutzen, um anhand mehrerer Zustände spezielle Werte anzunehmen?

Das liegt eben daran, dass MD5 zwar nicht schlecht war, sein Algorythmus aber bei heutiger Rechenpower nicht ausreichend ist. Das ist der Kreislauf der Kryptographie.
