100% true what you're saying here in this post @theycallmedan. I like what you say about the power and value of someone who never gives up. People don't realise that they're not poor if they have that. I'm poor in terms of how much money I have, relative to the country I live in, I'm pretty much right on the poverty line. But I know my biggest asset. I never give up. I give things my all when I believe in them, and I know how to recognize an opportunity to act. When I see something and jump on it I'm like a dog with a stick in its mouth hanging on with all I got and not giving in lol. My grandfather used to call it stubbornness and maybe he was right. But a huge amount of the best things in my life have come from that attitude. 

Confidence in yourself can be learned and it's free, you're right. I've gone from a very low place in my life with pretty much zero confidence, to where I am now which is a much better place. This all happened in less than ten years. I changed my confidence and outlook on life through one simple change; perspective. I started focusing on the good things, whether it be successes in work or personal life, or little victories in mentality about how I was changing my mental road map, it all came down to focus and perspective. Not dwelling on failures, or even better, analysing them to learn the lessons needed to be successful next time I'm in a similar situation.
