I don't know about loving themselves.  I once knew a gym screamer, dude was a giant.  He was also on anti-depressants and had a horrible self-image.  I wonder if there is some connection there.  I lost touch with him but i would be willing to bet that as he got older and it became more and more difficult to train and remain ripped if the depression multiplied.  sad
