The Opposite Of Fitness - CAKE, CAKE, CAKE!

I know I usually post about healthy things - nutrition, workouts, exercises, motivation… Well, today I’m going to be doing the exact opposite of that.

Why? Because I have an awesome opportunity on my hands to indulge in one of my favorite hobbies - baking big-ass, sweet, delicious cakes :)

That's right, cakes. All the sugar, all the fat, all the calories, all the carbs, and all the amazing. No healthy treats here. Not today. That's for another time. Today we go nuts!

In my opinion, the bigger, crazier, more over the top, the better! I like trying new things and making the most fun desserts possible - celebrations in themselves!

I’ve always liked baking, and have relished the opportunity to make tasty treats for those I love, particularly on special occasions! I have so enjoyed learning new techniques, the trial and error (lots of error, but it’s the thought that counts, right?), and the development of fun flavor combinations and designs.

My most recent, and by far most challenging, endeavor was the cake I made for my brother’s wedding last Christmas Eve:

Chocolate cake with passionfruit cream cheese filling, coconut cream cheese frosting, and pink flowers - everything made from scratch.

It took me a ton of hours to make this cake, but it was SO much fun! I got to learn different icing techniques, how to stack cake tiers, and how pipe different kinds of flowers out of stiff buttercream… Youtube really saved my ass - I relied heavily on the tutorials and it helped me a lot!

Anyway, today I’m starting my next big cake - my Mom’s and my sister-in-law’s birthday fall within a couple of days of each other, so I’m going to make an extra special cake for their joint celebration :)

I thought that showing a little bit of the behind-the-scenes action of this cake coming together (assuming it turns out!) might be a fun little change of pace from all things healthy - plus a little insight into the non-fitness things I like to do in my spare time…

And who doesn’t love cake!?

yeah really opposite today but some occasions its not bad to enjoy and especially for women it is good thing to have such experience like to make such type of cakes etc...by the way your cake is looking so delicious....thanks to share a happy moment with us ,,,, and waiting for your next cake
