Sometimes for sure, but it beats the stress of being underbooked. I’m not complaining, and I’m grateful for the hustle. Most obvious and frequent problem I run into is the classic one-extra-round-of-mix-notes / need more time to finish mixing a record and leaving for tour the next day conundrum, but I’m generally booking three months out and trying to leave a day or two off before each trip. I’m also mixing predominantly outboard so recalls after a month of tour are not billable hours. Time managent ftw.

That's amazing that you are able to keep up a busy schedule like that as a working musician - time management is way easier said than done lol. Especially if you are playing left-of-center music, which brings me to the other thing --

I only *just now* saw that you are the drummer for Cinemechanica?! You left a comment on my post a few weeks ago but I missed it til now!!

I love your band Mike! I've listened to some of the tracks off of Martial Arts more times than I can count. Great to have you on board at Steemit. It feels like a math rock scene is starting to brew here...
