Yes that is true. But example as i wrote i am in contact here with non-profit organizations in philippines. And also before that in my homeplace Hungary i was working with some aid organizations that they also make the same.
Example here in ph they make farming tha they make jam they make meat products. If there are trusted people who can manage it than it can work even with the steem ecosystem. 😉 But this is just my opinion. And of course i am open for other solutions as well to help on others. 
But also i wanna help our community here on steem. If the steem worth more it means we can do more for those in need😊
