I was reading an article the other day that talked about the eventual “flip” of the north and south poles.
It’s said, based on research, that this happens every 720,000 years or so. There’s no definite information on the affect it has on the earth’s inhabitants or if it happens slowly or quickly. However, the best science seems to think that it starts off slowly and then suddenly happens.
It’s also said that we are “overdo” for such a shift.
This may be one of the many reasons for more volcano and earthquake activity around the world. It may even have some effect that is allowing for climate change, since as the switch occurs, the magnetic field around the earth is reduced which is one of the elements that protects us from the sun’s rays.
This is happening right now according to the article. (FYI… This is NOT a commentary on climate change)
It’s a fascinating time we live in, for sure.
Like you, I don’t have a clue if I’ll be around to witness the flip, or when it happens, to see if it creates such havoc that millions of people are wiped out. (I hope not of course)
There are so many factors in our lives’ that we just can’t control and the flipping of the poles is certainly one of them.
I think if one focuses on those aspects of life you can’t control, you might just end up on the loony-bin.
Instead, I suggest focusing on what you can control.
As I’ve said before, my goal is to live to an active, healthy 125 years old – at least. That means I have a long time left and must plan and build for my future.
Even if you consider 125 unrealistic, I expect you have a long time left on this planet as well.
