<center> Any special insight that can be gained by taking any drug is lost as soon as the effects of the drug wear out. I can compare it to those who seek to crimb Everest but fly to the top of the mountains instead of going up the hard way so your body can get used to it. You need to do the work and allow for your system to get strong slowly and get used to the less oxygen. When you take psychedelics it may seem like you gained insight, but if you don't put any work in, ie: meditation, study, eating right, exercise and a philosophy that can help you identify those things in you which need to change. 
If you take drugs under the guidance of a trained counselor, that knows how to apply theraphy and the usage of the drug, you may actually be able to use it for healing traumas. That being said taking any drug without knowing the chemistry of your brain and any traumas you may have is a dangerous proposition. You are better off doing Yoga.
