`코로나 이후, 무엇을 사고 무엇을 보는가`

코로나 이후 사람들이 집에 있는 시간이 늘어나면서 다양한 테스트들이 인기를 끌고 있습니다. 갖가지 성격 테스트, 심리 테스트들이 넘쳐나고 있지요. 저자가 꼽는 MZ세대(M세대와 Z세대를 합친 세대)의 3가지 핵심 특성은 이렇습니다. 첫째 자기애, 둘째 인스타그래머블, 셋째 1인 가구입니다.

첫째 자기애. 밀레니얼 직장인이 꼽은 가장 좋은 직장은 워라벨이 보장된 직장입니다. 퇴근 후엔 아싸가 되어 하고 싶은 공부나 원데이 클래스에 참여하는 등 취미활동과 자기계발에 시간을 쏟습니다.

둘째 인스타그래머블. 인스타그래머블한 트랜드에 맞추면 MZ세대에 더 어필할 수 있다고 합니다. 유행은 정말 빠르게 바뀝니다.

셋째 1인 가구. MZ세대의 특징은 1인 가구가 많다는 겁니다. 혼자 사는 가구가 많아지면서 혼자 하는 활동이 익숙하고 편한 쪽으로 문화가 변하고 있다고 합니다. 혼밥, 쇼핑, 운동, 영화 보기, 여행, 음주 드라이브 등을 혼자 한다고 합니다. 혼캉스 같은 경우도 혼자 호텔 가서 뭐 하냐고 생각할 수 있지만, 집이 답답할 때 깔끔하고 좋은 데 가서 혼자 있으면서, 분위기 좋은 곳에서 여유를 즐기는 것이 어색하지 않은 문화가 MZ세대에 자리를 잡았다고 합니다.
