Mir ist gerade noch diese Textpassage aufgefallen:

Also, auch wenn er wirklich beeindruckend ist, halte ich 7 cm nun doch für des Guten zu viel. Wo hast du <em>das</em> denn gelesen? :)

Erwischt, Adlerauge... ;-)
Ich muss gestehen, bezüglich der Größe nicht ganz exakt gearbeitet zu haben. im *Parey* stand zu den Ölkäfern allgemein "bis 7 cm", beim Maiwurm stand nur "variabel". Auf *Wikipedia* gabs als Info 11-35 mm. Das konnte aber nicht hinhauen, da "mein" Käfer definitiv 45-50 mm maß (ich kann 10 cm recht gut mit Daumen und Zeigefinger "schätzen", der Käfer hatte die Hälfte). Also habe ich einfach mal die allgemeine Angabe auch auf dieses schöne Exemplar bezogen. Soll ich's jetzt ändern? 3,5 cm stimmten gestern erwiesenermaßen nicht...
