Hello @steemingcuration. It's good to be back here in this great #SteemingCommunity after how many days of being stressed with so much trouble everywhere. I mean trouble in my steemit account everywhere. But I will just share with it in separate ways later of what had happened. Let me focus on this first.

Being a parent, it is so hard to handle a child's characteristics, but you have to guide them all the way as you could in order for them to be in the right way. I am not yet a parent, but I was also a child made my parents head hurts way back in time.

# What's on your mind?

Most of the kids nowadays, we see them in any organizations like fraternities, some were involved in drugs, fights, gamblings, and any other illegal issues in the society. And we know that it's so hard for the parents to see their children like that. 

As what the picture shown above, it is the reality now. As we can see here, it shows the parents with one child, and the child being disciplined by the father, but the mother insisted not to hurt him. Because the child felt that her mother was on his side, so he cried and cried until he run away from home and chased by the father, but he really escaped. So as the time goes by, he became a rebel and learned to do some illegal things, and when the perfect time was on him, he got arrested by the police officer.

 Back in my childhood days, we've got really disciplined by our parents when we did something wrong. But they have their different and own ways on scolding us. Sometimes, we heard them argued over us, because my mother is more emotional than my father. Whenever my mother saw us being disciplined by our father, she hurt herself the most, cried and fight with my father, but father insisted why he did that. It's for our own good as he said, because he don't want us to be a spoiled brat like any other kids. We even experienced kneeling rocksalt on the floor, whipped by a belt and even hit by the guava's stalk, and being slapped too hard because I usually talked back with my parents back then. I also experienced seeing my brother put in an empty sack of rice and he was hung over because of my father's anger of what he did. That's how my parents desciplined us. But behind those actions, we knew that it also hurt them what they did to us, just for us to be in the right path. Because despite all of those things happened, after that, they would talk to us in heart-to-heart-talk way and made it up. They explained to us why they did that. They made us understood all those things why this and that. And we were all in tears right after what happened. But as a kid, most of the times, we really want to do everything, sometimes we won't even listen to them, that's why we were also being hit and scolded.

# What's on your mind?

Based on the picture, it is the perfect notation of having family discipline. It's not that you don't want to hurt them because you love them, but instead, you rather discipline them because you care for them, and you want to guide them in the right path all the way.

## As I reminisce all these things back in time, I am so thankful what my parents did to us. It's not that the hurt of being whipped or slapped of the big hands or even kneeling on the rocksalt on the floor could kill you. I am just so thankful that we grew as a good samaritan in time.
