Ingress is the first game by Niantic Inc. based on GPS coordinates, i.e. geolocation, like in Pokémon GO. All objects in it are tied to a real map, and you have to move between them on your own two feet. The main difference from Pokemon is that in Ingress, game objects are given much more mechanics.
