Howdy sir galenkp...very tough situation there for sure, what a horrible thing dementia is, both my wife's parents got it at the same time, only took a few months before they couldn't hold a conversation so I know the pain, frustration and sadness. But at least you're using it to make the most and best of each day.

I may be overly optimistic but with all the advancements medical researchers are making I think they'll have cures for dementia, Alzheimer's and cancer within ten years.

That would be good...Although they've been talking about miracle drugs for this and that for years and still there's no cures. Think about all the fundraised money that goes to cancer research. People still get cancer. Still, I hope it happens.
