Greetings colleagues, this time I want to share with you a peculiar topic that has reference to the different ways that all human beings use to express themselves, this time we will particularly focus on the language used through facial expressions..

Facial expressions is a type of language that we use to communicate between people or animals of different species in a non-verbal way, this can be developed in a visual or corporal way. In this point particularly the face plays a very important role, since through the different facial expressions that we can indicate we can give a message..

A very particular example of this type of language is represented by primates, dogs and cats, which through a series of expressions they make with their faces and bodies can communicate with us humans and indicate what they want..

It is of utmost importance to be able to have a means of communication, either through facial expressions, with which we can understand the mood of any species, indicate feelings, the power to be dominant or subdued among other aspects. In the same way with this technique we can send a group message and be interpreted in the same way by everyone.

All mammals are characterized by the presence of muscles in the face, which facilitates their facial communication process. Humans and primates have the largest number of muscles, which make their expressions more visible and thus indicate the mood of the person. These muscles are mainly found in two parts of the face, which are the mouth and the eyes, these in turn are the most striking part of the face and with which a given message can be ratified or not.

The lips are very important in indicating feelings such as frustration, anxiety or stress. Likewise, the eyes express happiness or sadness through tears. What is really important at this point is that human beings can communicate with words but the expressions of our faces can say much more than them.

It can be concluded that communication through facial or body expressions plays a fundamental role in the communication process of every human being and species in general, since sometimes the brain can betray us when we omit words that we do not want to say but our expressions end up giving us away.

Always remember if you want to make a good impression when meeting someone, just put on your best face and express yourself with a beautiful, quality smile.

Hello @sidalim88
First time I read a post of.your authorship, and I see that you present an interesting topic. Talking about gestures is talking about one of the most important components of human communication, and of animals in general.
I think that learning to read the gestural language is something that should make us more aware, and I am sure that our relationships would improve.

Hi @sidalim88

When you mention these "if you want to make a good impression when meeting someone, just put on your best face and express yourself with a beautiful and quality smile", from my perspective the idea is to be genuine in our expression as the person will notice in a big way if our smile or bad gesture is real or fiju.

Best regards, be well.

@joseph1956 ·
Excellent topic and also very appropriate to these times, and it is true that facial language is well used but treacherous, particularly happens to me that I express a lot with my face and it gives me away my thoughts, but well that must be handled.
On the other hand I must clarify that you say that it is a language understood by all, this is not so true, because there are people with lack of empathy and identification of these for example.
Thank you for your contribution

Hello @sidalim88!
Definitely that facial expressions can really show how we feel at a certain moment and especially people who know us easily identify our mood, without having to say a word. Good post. Greetings!
