I'm actually powering down Dave. Like I ever make any steem to power up when I did. Almost 2 years on Steemit and if I'm lucky I will have made enough to buy a few Litecoins. That's it. Like you're going to get rich on Steemit.

Sorry to hear that @hippie-witha-gun this place can be rough at first, and it can take a while for the community to find you. I do know that persistence will pay off, but that is the biggest hurdle to this place in my opinion.  The second most important thing, especially when new here, is to make friends. Find stuff of similar interest and interact with those that you share common interests with, and that will help you grow here on the Steem Blockchain.
On the Steem Blockchain, WE are the crypto-miners, we are running on a Proof-of-Brain Blockchain and it will require all of us to use it in order to be successful on here. Take care and have a good one.
