How'd it go. I should have mentioned that the girls go in by themselves if I wait till the sun is down. They do carry on as they jockey for positions in the coop. Brownie goes in early to get a nest box before anyone else. She is actually quite calculating.😉🐓

Four keep going so high in the tree, even me jumping with a rake didn't reach them. The rest roosted on the top of the fence around their enclosure. I just picked them up and carried them in. And promptly discovered they are covered in mites. So that's what I've done today. Wash, bleach, and treat the chicken house and treat chickens. I'm exhausted!
