Mass animal production/processing, while profitable, can be rough on the human psyche. I ran 1200-1500 birds per year for awhile. Made some good $$, but it got rough mentally, physically and psychologically. I pray I never dream of processing chickens again. I now run through 50-75 birds a year. Much more manageable.
