Giants (living even today) and remains of giants are/have been found from Russia to Sardinia to Peru, Egypt, Iraq, North America - essentially all over the world. Even in China. Ever wondered why the Great Wall of China is so tall and who may have built it, why, and how?

[globo] Not just supposedly: there is biblical and extra-canonical, as well as archeological proof. In fact, Goliath had three brothers, also giants, which were eventually killed by the Hebrews.

And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them." (Numbers 13:32-33, English Standard Version)

> The Sumerians called their gods the Anunnaki; Abraham, being the son of an idol manufacturer in the Sumerian city of Ur, could reasonably be expected to have known about these gods, if he existed[7]. Whether via the knowledge of a historical Abraham, or via folk memory that passed down to the Yahwist, the words Anak and its plural (Anakim) could simply be bastardized versions of Anunnaki; this would equate the Nephilim with the Sumerian demigods such as Gilgamesh.
