I must note that Lysander Spooner explained how the Constitution failed in it's express geas to protect the rights of man prior to the Civil War. Today, corrupt politicians shake and rattle it's dry bones like shamans wielding fetishes for their rapt audiences.

Political rhetoric is utterly insipid, and despite your knowledge of history, you seem to have not grasped how rhetoric obfuscates matters of import. Please forgive my insult. I mean it to be constructive criticism that prompts you to consider the complete contrast between rhetoric and action that ubiquitously characterizes politics throughout history.

Reagan spoke many words that were true and inspirational regarding overweening government, and then proceeded to quadruple the national debt and the size of government. Similarly, Trump decried illegal immigration, which has dramatically increased during his administration. It is true I do not care for the man, and carnival barkers in general, but I despise political lies because they substantively matter, as the means of deceiving free people to accept tyranny, which my personal distaste for people doesn't.

My first post on Steem was desperately hoping Trump was different: a statesman rather than a fall guy puppet. My hope dashed, I no longer consider it rational to hope for any benefit from government itself, as government of every kind is necessarily founded on illegitimate principles contrary to the fact of individual sovereignty. Albert Einstein pointed out that hoping the cause of a problem will solve the problem is no less insane than expecting different results when repeating action.

I deeply respect your philosophical principles, but note that rhetoric seems yet to be meaningful to you, despite the proof of history that it inevitably conceals political actions utterly contrary to it's meaning, and is the primary weapon that has degraded the inherent blessings of civilization and society to our generation by serially deceiving us while the power of government to increase it's totalitarian tyranny has been effected.

The 2016 election proved that nomination to candidacy in the USA for the office of President is simply a commodity that is purchased by the highest bidder, and the Mossad agent George Webb admitted that Mossad and the covert surveillance community deliberately destroyed HRC's election in favor of Trump. There is nothing of value in the rhetoric of politicians, despite it being the substance of the documentation that historians depend on.

None of it is anything but lies, and those are the tip of the spear thrust into the heart of freedom.

Thanks!

Thanks for partaking my old friend. Whilst I agree with you that political rhetoric is mostly of a distractive nature, the events (on both sides of the faux political spectrum) surrounding this sordid affair are more than a he-said / she-said affair.

Apart from the rhetoric itself, there are *actions* by multiple parties on both sides that are particularly noteworthy, especially as they pertain to the Constitution - something they all swore to uphold and defend.

While some may agree that the Constitution itself has been totally obliterated (*I've touched upon this in my 6 part series - [Restoring the American Republic](https://steemit.com/money/@libertyacademy/restoring-the-lost-republic-6-part-series-part-1-money-currency-debt-and-credit-backgrounder) - particularly in [Part 2](https://steemit.com/washington-dc/@libertyacademy/restoring-the-lost-republic-6-part-series-part-2-the-legitimacy-of-the-federal-government-in-washington-d-c), to a certain extent*), it does remain the Supreme Law of the land, or it least it is suppose to. Without it, there is no Republic.

And for those who are willing to sit idly by and not fight back against these most destructive forces, which sadly are *domestic* (as the forefathers had astutely predicted), I deem them as part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

Call me an optimist, but I think if we all sit on the pitty-pot (*like my grandfolks use to phrase it when I was young*) and do nothing but complain, then we are merely makers of our own misery.

God bless you and Merry Christmas my friend.

Ultimately, our Creator is in charge of the whole thing.

I must completely agree with you that merely complaining is neither of use to we ourselves, nor anyone else - save our enemies, who incessantly seek power over us. The most effective weapon they wield today is government, and it is thoroughly in their hands, not ours.

So, solving the problems and surmounting the challenges our enemies pose us will not be successfully undertaken through the aegis of government, which is a weapon in our enemies hands. I note that decreasing the power of government by decreasing institutional power generally is available to us today, and *even if you disagree government is a weapon against freedom* adopting suitable means of production that have begun to emerge will benefit you.

Nothing more reduces the wealth and power of individuals today than the parasitism of institutions, whether profits of industrial manufacturers, often more than half the cost of products purchased, or taxes, which are ~1/2 of our income today. When we manufacture our own products with individually owned factories like 3D printers, no profits are extracted from our paychecks by corporations, nor are any taxes added to the parasitic cost of the product from the income we would have had to earn to buy it.

As decentralization burgeons, freedom and prosperity grow proportionately. Decreasing institutional power increases individual freedom, and that increases prosperity globally, as well as individually.

This is the action I recommend, rather than lamenting which corrupt puppet in government is waxing or waning as they compete for our throbbing carotids to feast on. The more we handle our business and ignore them, the less they matter. When enough of us handle enough of our business without involving them, they become irrelevant, which they merit entirely.

Merry Christmas, and may you fully return the joy you receive from your loved ones.

Edit: I note that you are granted free will by your creator, and that makes you responsible for how you deploy that authority. You point out that all is in the Creator's hands. I point out that he has delegated that responsibility to you. I commend you to your best opinion on what will best serve you, your family, and your people. Too many simply ignore that they are on the hook for that decision. I am sure you take your responsibility seriously, and that is a good thing IMHO.

>Nothing more reduces the wealth and power of individuals today than the parasitism of institutions...

So true! Like you said, pretty much everything they put their hands on increases the cost/price by 50%. Inefficiency at its best. Plus, they make these systems so inefficient (e.g., banking, utilities).

>As decentralization burgeons, freedom and prosperity grow proportionately. Decreasing institutional power increases individual freedom, and that increases prosperity globally, as well as individually.

**BINGO! This is the key to it all my friend.** You nailed it.

They want us trapped in various "systems" (banking, electric grid, food, water, etc., etc.). And the more we can exclude ourselves from these enslavement mechanisms, the better. That is why they are so adamant of entrapping us all in these grids. 5G is a great example.

They despise people being self-reliant (growing their own food, heating their homes with firewood, and the like). But the more we do it, the less they become relevant. I think that by necessity and exorbitant & sky-rocketing costs of living people are moving towards this better avenue.

Best,
👍

Actually, she bought it from the DNC, who stole it from Bernie. A technicality, merely the difference between receiving stolen property and stealing itself. Sadly, corrupt courts ruled that no crime occurred when the DNC averred they were within their rights to sell their nomination and defraud their membership.

It is for this reason that I have no respect for anyone that remains a Democrat. By remaining a member of the DNC, they voluntarily affirm they revoke the power of their vote and simply serve masters that sell their vote. No free person should aspire to such abject slavery.

Merry Christmas my friend!

Merry Christmas. And yes, true. What you said is accurate. I was just being lazy to not write all of that haha. Kanye West talked about slavery by the way.
