Hello! My name is Montina and I would like to introduce myself and what you can expect in my content. I am an artist. My main focus is painting, and when I get into it I dive in deep and get messy. I let loose and unleash a lot of energy onto the canvas. As a person, I am a bundle of energetic joy and sorrow, living through the extremes, and this overflows and gets harnessed in most of what I do. I like to lead my life very free and vulnerable. I love to share my journey with others and unfold in the world in a brave and strong way.

I also am a figure model and art nude model. I find this work very sacred as it allows me to meditate and let creative images a flow. I enjoy posing for artists because I begin to forget I am a woman, I forget I am a body. I am merely line, shape, colour, and texture, I may as well be a fruit bowl. My intent in art nude photography is to capture the real essence of womanhood as a way to contrast the images of women that are meticulously planted in the psyches of most young people. I aim to express true authenticity.

I consider myself the leftovers of a family of musicians (youngest of 9) so I sing from time to time, but I prefer the channeling and silence and movement of making a great piece of art. My work delves into the domains of past traumas, repression, ancestral memories, haunting figures, and child development. I am fascinated by psychology and parapsychology. I am a huge advocate of psychedelic therapies and alternate modes of healing. I consider myself a bliss junkie and psychonaut. I love reading Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Stanislav Grof, Julia Kristeva, and listening to Alan Watts, and Duncan Trussell. I am majorly obsessed with Jim Carrey as you will see in some upcoming videos. I adore children and play.

I am so excited to share my life with you and see what unfolds on the steemit community! Looking forward to exploring the worlds of others.

You sound fantastic! Pleased to meet you. I love what you wrote about being being a bundle of joy and sorrow and living your life free and vulnerable. I have been working with this a lot as an artists model (but on aerial circus equipment )I want to be figure and form, but cant help showing off my strength and vulnerability. It seeps out and i hope informs the  paintings.
