I found your post through the awesome girls from the @heyhaveyamet initiative.

Reading your introductory post, I believe you have a lot to contribute to this blockchain, Unfortunately, the resource credits system has made it difficult for newcomers to get started, so I decided to give you a little extra freedom to post, like and engage with the community by sharing some of my Steem Power with you, so you won't run out of RC that quickly anymore.

However, keep in mind you're not completely safe from running out of RC. Keep an eye on the amount of RC credits you have left on https://steemd.com/@felblob.
Also, I recommend keeping an eye on your voting power (you can do this here: https://steemworld.org/@felblob). Your voting power regenerates over time, but it is recommended to keep it above 80% (so it can regenerate entirely and be back at 100% in one day).

When you first start on SteemIt, there's a lot to learn. Things might seem very overwhelming in the beginning. But from your post I learn you're not afraid of new challenges, so I think you will do just fine here. 

I think @paramimd, @brittandjosie and @xcountytravelers have given you some good tips to get started on here. If I can add one: don't get scared off by the steep learning curve SteemIt has. Take things one step at time. If you're here for the long run, you'll have all the time in the world to learn everything you need to know. There's no need to rush.

Once you manage to struggle (yes, struggle, lol) yourself through those first couple of weeks, you'll find out what an amazing community we have here, one that is well worth overcoming all difficulties you face here as a beginner.

One last thing: it would be very useful to get a Discord account. If you're not familiar with Discord (but something tells me you are), it's a chatting app that can be considered as the 'behind the scenes' of SteemIt. Every community has its own channel, and it's a great way to get to know other Steemians, and to build your network, which is like one of the most important things to do if you want to survive here.
I see @xcountytravelers has already invited you to join the [Steem Terminal](https://discord.gg/XZGPGpz) channel, of which I think it's a good place to start.
