I don't see anything wrong with suggesting upvote, follow, resteem at the and of a blog post, it is asking for an action, a critique of your work after someone has experienced your blog. There is a huge difference if someone asks for the same thing in a comment, that has no substance or relevance to the blog or thread in discussion, that is just rude, ignorant behaviour, and well basically spamming.
