@clayop, maybe @ share2steem can work together with your project too. S2S main objective is to onboard more users to steem chain by 
1) making it really easy for ppl to use (existing instagram, twitter, yt users can just use the tag # share2steem and autopost to steem chain.
2) get daily upvote worth ard 0.01 even if they r new users to encourage them to stay on which i think is similar to your purposed basic income concept for user retention.

especially for instagram users in korea which i think the numbers are huge, since they are already posting on instagram and adding tags, why not add 1 more simple tag and  autopost to steem chain and earn some crypto which leads them to learn more abt steem and communities.
