Nicely said. I get that a governing body destroying one's own rights can be very daunting.

But well... all I can say is, from where I am, with the risks involved, it's just not something worth talking about or even trying.

No worries on the last point. I actually just wrote that part to reinforce the piece being a personal one and not one that is arguing on the topic of drugs.

I'd add though, every action in life has consequences, drugs-related or not.

So in this context and where I am from, the consequences are way too heavy to want to fuck around with, which gets to me because the smokers here don't seem to really care, particularly when it potentially can hurt others around them.

Definitely. Same as when I was in Bali - even IF I could have gotten away with it, and the laws might be extreme, wasn’t worth the risk. *Period.*
