Well said, @papa-pepper.  Sometimes, we get so caught up in trying to obtain the big payout or reaching some major financial, educational or work goal, that we forget the importance of the "small things." Being kind to one another or simply sitting down for a conversation with a lonely older relative or neighbor, are examples of important things that we often  overlook.
