Many, not all, but many of those particular posts are the *tell them what they want to hear* style posts.  Very simple to write.  Doesn't take talent, just a very basic understanding of something.  Then others latch on and do one too!  It's quite tough to be an *actual* blogger here and succeed, but not impossible.  Human nature comes into play.  I've often wondered if some view a good blogger as a threat, so they might refuse to help that person succeed with a vote.  Now I'm just rambling.
