- The same story about corruption is mentioned in the NT several places as we know.   Rightly or wrongly, commerce is equated with government like you mention with extortionary tactics and force without consent, and certainly not informed consent.  

 I never want to interpret scripture wrongly as we are exhorted to *"rightly"* divide the word of God  (which I learned one day, in the opposing things NOT said means you can WRONGLY divide it)

I have learned with all my activism and policy work and being harassed and targeted by gov't and police state for speaking truth loudly, publicly and trying to INFORM people --- it seems clear nearly everything to do seeks to rule and impose over us --
