Yes, we will start to get some more rain again soon. That is good as we haven't been getting rain in awhile. Well, we have been in a drought like condition for sometime now. We are still on water restriction.

Well, at least I won't have to be watering the lawn for the time being. I always like to water the lawn as doing that I will also be watering my two front yard trees. 

It is good that there is still sunshine as I took this picture before I mowed my moms lawn with my old 41 year old lawnmower. Interesting how that lawnmower still works. Of course it has been repaired several times, since I bought  it.

We recently had some strong winds. That is good as that blows a lot of the leaves off the trees. There are a lot of people that have raked their leaves to the side of the road, to be picked up soon.

Not me. No I just put them under one of my fruit trees in the backyard. Fallen leaves are good for compost. Every year I just keep adding another layer of leaves to my fruit trees.

I know it is working as when I dig a bit in the old leaves I see worms that are eating the decaying fallen leaves. So many worms that I even see signs that the skunks were moving the leaves around to get some of those worms and other bugs.

The leaves are good also, as they hold water a lot better than just open dirt. Well, with a drought like weather it would be good to hold moisture as long as possible.

With the rain, it is always good to have a fireplace fire. My cat is lying in a chair close to the fire. Today, I went into the garage and brought out some firewood that I have been holding for a couple of years now.

So yes that wood is ready to burn now. I just looked up what is seasoned firewood and they say that seasoned firewood is wood with less than 20% moisture content.

Of course I don't know how to measure if a piece of wood has less than 20% moisture content, so I just wait about 2 years after the wood as been cut and it seems to work out just fine for me.

So the sun is shining where I live at in an angle. The is the way it goes for the position of the sun to the circle of the earth. The sun goes at a wider circle over the circle of the earth going closer to the southern circle of the ice walls of Antarctica. 

During the summer we have the sun over our heads. This is were the sun is circling closer toward the north over the circle of the earth.

This is where north is the center of the circle of the earth and south would point to the outer circle of the earth, the circle of the ice walls of Antarctica.

Now if we study the firmament, where the sun, moon and stars is housed, you will notice it is firm, like a molten looking glass and like terrible crystal.

As it is written, Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? Job 37:18. It is also written, And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. Ezekiel 1:22.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Psalm 19:1.
