Procrastination at its Best

___
K got to study for her exam on Sunday and has to prepare for defense. She still got a week before the the tests and two weeks before the doomsday. She prepared for the test and gathered the "Old Testaments" (previous test questionnaires) and reviewers. And she went to a government agency to collect data for the project she's working on.

Because she's tired after getting back, and because she had all week to prepare, she decided to review the next day.

And so, the morrow became the present. She woke up late and told herself, "I'm not ready, yet. I have to eat my breakfast first."
She went to eat her meal even if it's already in the middle of the day. Upon getting back to her room, she took her laptop and began searching.
"Oh, wait! I have to open YouTube so I could listen to some music while studying. It'll be more effective." She thought.

But she stumbled on a trending video. And watching the YouTube videos never ended. The day was gone, and she hardly noticed.

Her friends invited her to study at a coffee shop, the following day. They'll stay all night to do their stuff. She said 'yes' immediately because she works productively when with friends. The group agreed to start studying together at 3 in the morning after finishing their own works and assignments.

It was approaching midnight when she received a message from a friend. Her friend's shift was about to end. Because her friend works near the area, she wanted to meet him because it's been a long time since they last saw each other.

They met at the nearest park. They were talking when her friend suddenly blurted out, "Do you want to grab a drink?"
"Yeah!"
She answered without hesitation.
"But, two bottles only!"

Upon reaching the bar, they ordered 1 bucket which contains 6 beers. That's when 2 bottles became 3. She was rushing; since, she still got to study. They talked about almost everything and said their goodbyes at 2:30 am. She went back to the coffee shop, tipsy. She was ready to study but her friends weren't. So, the group study never happened.

She went home and slept for the longest time. Upon waking up she learned that they have to pass the write-up for their paper on Saturday, the day before her 2 examinations.

"GREEEEAT!" She's freaking out. And it's Thursday already.

She thought a lot about it. She's overthinking now. She wasted all day working on her thoughts. Now, she lost another day. Friday came. She exerted an effort and finished a task.

"YAY! I deserve a rest." And her rest took all day again.

Now's Saturday! She got to finish everything. She got to review everything. She's rushing. She's overthinking. Then, she stopped.
"I need to stay calm. I can do this!"
She opens steemit.com and wrote a post entitled, "**Procrastination at its Best**."

She got 6 hours to finish her write-up for the project and got 10 hours to spend for studying 2 exams. The coverage of these exams are the lessons for one whole semester of 10 subjects.

Happy Cramming!

___
**Procrastination** as defined by google is
> *the action of delaying or postponing something*.

While cramming is defined by Wikipedia as
>is the practice of working intensively to absorb large volumes of informational material in short amounts of time.

**So tell me, guys, is CRAMMING a good thing or a bad thing?**
**How can PROCRASTINATION be avoided?**
I'd like to hear your say on this! Thank you! Steem on!

Procrastination... it is hard to me spell and remember this word... this is our common problem, we usually procrastinate almost everything that we need to do it. It will take long word to explain it. Try googling Barbara Oakley, she is expert about it. Nice postinf! :)

Honestly one of my favorite topic to read about, putting off what I should be doing. But instead, I'm doing this. Coffee shops are tough to get out of.

Waaah. I've been spending a lot of time in coffee shops to finish my postponed activities and to-dos. At least, I don't get sleepy there. Lol. So much for procrastination.
