I'm well thank you. Things have kind of dissolved with him. It wasn't a recent break up but we had what I can only describe as a serious moment of nostalgia more than a year later, but I realised that the reasons I left him still remain and it was more loneliness and a false sense of security in going back to what you know that was drawing us together. We're friends and I think that's best. 

Your situation sounds incredibly tough, another person makes everything harder but I really do believe that everything happens for a reason and believing that has made the hardest times in my life a lot easier. Give it a little more time, something will happen that never would have had you been together and maybe then you will be able to see why it didn't work out and in doing so find forgiveness and acceptance to move on. It's a lot harder than it sounds though, I do know that.
