*Only* 10k?!?!?  This is an outrage!  That's not enough!  Could have done this for free elsewhere and earned more... wait, no, you can't, 10k is pretty damn good!  Congrats!  My account *was* worth 36k, but then I lost 10k because of this crazy thing they call volatility(I'm not worried).  ...and all I did was blog.  

I recently wrote up a post showing off a few of my fails.  Earned pennies on those posts!  Worked *hard* on those posts!  Didn't give up... and this is what you get.

I mean, definitely do it *in THIS case,* but let this example serve as a rule.
Here's what to do instead:
Write an awesome, poignant, hopefully humorous comment, and out of respect the Dolphin (someone with over 5,000 Steem Power, like me @scan0017 and my countryman @nonameslefttouse and new best friend @meesterboom ) will click on your name, check out your blog, and big you up with a vote if you contribute value other than linking a YouTube clip.

Make me smile or laugh, props you get, maybe even a follow - no mincing words, that's what time it is:  We earned our way to where we are, and I LOVE to help people who sincerely contribute.

On this platform, when you contribute, you get rewarded.  

Make an effort.
Get recognized.
Grow in power.
Reward others.
