Hey @jaynie I resonate with your experience. I was always considered 'the black sheep" in my family because I questioned or asked a lot of questions and read everything. I love books, cultures, and differences in people. It was not necessarily looked down on, but it made my family members not "like" me because I would "think outside of the box". It made me a loner mostly. Nevertheless, that hurtful childhood experience led me into my spiritual journey and I have met some amazing people with beautiful life stories. While most of my family are still doing the same things; I have taken time to elevate my understandings and experiences and have not looked back since. I love the person I am today more than I ever did as a child. Thank you for sharing #steemitbloggers

Isn't it simply amazing how an experience or multiple experiences through life that at the time can be so hurtful or even damaging to us on an emotional level can completely shift our journey into something totally magnificent!
