Hardworking people.

We live in a society based on progress, innovation and wealth. Basically, everywhere we look, we will see this expressed in one way or the other. on one side you have investors, businessmen, bankers, and financiers. These people play a very important role in our society and tend to be quite influential. We also have the professionals, the persons doing jobs that Sheldon from big bang theory tends to refer to as "trade". These are the doctors, teachers, dancers, chefs and engineers. Despite Sheldon's lack of respect, society could not function without these professionals either. We need them, we need them all in order for the world as we know it to function the way it does.
![aid.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWCetwipMRL42pdjZjD51Qm4WTnSp4dpsgj4XCfRRFWtV/aid.jpg)
To get any of the above-mentioned jobs, one must either spend a significant amount of time training and attending school, or simply inherit a large sum of money, like Trump did. in the end, the result is an individual capable of making changes in the world and many people respect and aspire to be one of these. It's the reason why we send our children to school and why we were sent to school by our parents. We all aspired to become someone capable of acquiring a job that will earn us good pay, respect, and a good life.

As a result, most of us often ignore many other, very, very important jobs in life since they seem to be too dirty, or not well paid and reputed enough. You will see it or hear of it wherever you go, persons with high profile jobs are respected, praised and even worshiped in some circles. All the women want to be with the high-powered businessman or doctors. No one wants to be an ice cream man, or a construction worker, or a taxi driver, yet all of these jobs are quite important. More often than not, the dirty construction worker is ignored and treated with disdain, the taxi driver is regarded as someone who couldn;t do better, and the janitor is referred to as a lower class citizen. I myself have done construction for some time before I became interested in agriculture(another underrated profession). I installed gypsum ceilings and walls, banks refused to deal with me and I couldn't qualify for hire purchase at appliance stores. This made things quite difficult for me and really showed me how segregation in society worked.

Everything and everyone in society is geared around one thing, status. Society ranks you and places you in a position that can be quite hard to escape from if changes aren't made. Meaning you will have to go from doing odd jobs around your neighborhood and town as a painter or bricklayer acquire a more "respectable job", like being a teacher or lawyer. While I bear no ill will towards these professional job position, I think it quite unsavory how people doing jobs that aren't as flashy are regarded by society, even though in many instances, they could be working for a lot more than the average teacher or businessman.

As a society, I believe we need to be less opinionated and more respectful of all persons, despite their job titles. We must not judge a man's value by the job he does, the salary he makes or the title he holds. We need to learn to understand and cherish the value of every person and to do this takes understanding. It takes stepping out from the boundaries of that which you are familiar and maybe giving consideration to the lives of persons doing jobs that you, and many others, consider beneath you. It may not be the solution to everything, but a little understanding could go a long way towards making positive changes in the world that we can all benefit from.

I would like to give a shout out to all the hard working people of the world, in all job types. From the persons collecting garbage on the back of trucks to the men installing roofs on houses in my neighborhood and the young man cutting lawns with a weed wacker. We are all important and we must learn to value ourselves and each other, or the world will always be a place suited to some but not all.

Have a nice day steemit crew!

Liberals hate hard working people. They hate hard work in general. They are sick people who demand everything for free.

Well said. The flipside of this being -- we need to start thinking and planning now (especially in westernized countries) for the robot job disruption.

I want to make sure programs are setup so that when these wonderful peoples' jobs stop existing, we have resources and tools to transition them. I don't to see us create another level of lazy.

Yah, the robot thing is a puzzle still. I can't decide if they will simply ignore the working class and let them wither away, or try to accommodate all living persons, sort of like a welfare, but not quite, I don't like the idea of having to just exist either.

Well I have already made up mind that I will not let the whither. I am designing life skills courses and from there I will design programs to help them tradition.

I choose to make the world a better place :)

I agree my friend. In this world we live in, there is a lot of prejudice. People are worth what they are and not what they do. Thanks for sharing. Have a great friday!
