Yes, I have been talking to my friends about this whole situation and it is amazing how people just give a blanket shoulder shrug like, well yea everything is fucked. But it's also fine all at the same time. It's like a car with steam coming out of the hood and nobody wants to look.

There comes a point where you just have to give up on them. Continually trying to educate people is de-energising and they just think you are being negative.
