RATES are a JUMBLED MESS! Up or Down Intermediate term?

Where are RATES HEADED? Higher or Lower?

I was in the camp that rates needed another 2.70 test and break before we make the move higher. After being very bullish rates in the 2.50 range and calling the spike above 3.00, I #timestamped and went bearish rates at 3.07 because I felt the move had been made and everyone was then calling for 4+ yield. Well flash forward 90 days and you can see below that rates have held on three separate occasions and are now breaking up.

I can NO LONGER be BEARISH RATES with this type of action unless the 10 year is under 2.90. Sure I thought 2.70 was going to get hit and it damn near did at 2.77 from 3.10, however for now rates are looking more and more bullish and are breaking up. 

Above the 100 day MA you should be looking for higher rates until it proves otherwise and holds below.

What are your thoughts?
