Happiness stems from fulfilling interactions with others. "Interactions" are of different types, most notably "economic interactions". Money is a fabulous, amazing tool to increase the number of economic interactions. When combined with law, a greater proportion of these interactions are fulfilling. Hence one can say "money + law = happiness". But it is true that there's more. If money and law produce happiness, other things also produce happiness, if to a lesser extent. It’s pretty simple when you put it that way. I think through marketing and advertising we’ve pushed for more of wasted spending through impulsive buying and creating new needs and wants so we’ve lost site of why we needed money or wanted to make money in the first place !ENGAGE 20
